ABOUT
Polarbear White Shepherds is a fairly small operation. Ruth uses only a few breeding dogs repeatedly over and over again. She has produced more litters than I have evidence for on this site.
Polarbear's Prince Caspian
"Casper" is their current breeding male. He is the only dog they have that is OFA tested for both hips and elbows.

"GOOD" which is an obvious lie. Below is a picture
from a previous litter describing Casper.
Polarbear's Queen Qali
This dog is the FULL SISTER to Ruth's breeding male Prince Caspian and to Renaissance. These dogs are from two different litters, which is why they are different ages, but they have the same parents. Despite this fact, Ruth has had several litters between this brother and sister (info can be seen on the past litters page)

This is the most recent description of Qali from
her November 2012 litter page
Note that this information is believed to be
correct. Since Qali is a well bred dog (has a
good pedigree, a hip rating of "good", and is
a good representation of a White Shepherd
in terms of conformation), this would make
her a good potential brood dog. The problem
is that Casper and Qali are direct siblings.
Polarbear's Sugar Snowcloud
This is the dog that I have the most issues with. This dog has an EXTREMELY "gay tail". This means that instead of being strait or having a slight arch to her tail like a properly bred White Shepherd should, her tail instead looks more like an Alaskan Malamute with a tail that curls over her back. This is a breed fault and she does pass this trait on to her puppies. This is not a trait that you want to promote in a well bred dog. She has also bred this dog too frequently for her age. She is a little more than 3 1/2 years old and has had at least 5 litters within this time meaning she has had several back to back breedings which is an unacceptable practice according to the American White Shepherd Association.
I believe and am trying to find evidence that this dog has been bred every time she has come into heat which in my opinion is terribly sad and irresponsible. Please see the past litters page for more information.
I ask you this: Why would you spend thousands of dollars for a pure bred, "rare breed", dog if it is just going to look like a poorly bred mutt?

"Reyna" is the FULL SIBLING to both Queen Qali and Prince Caspian. This dog has not been OFA tested at all.

Note that even though there is an OFA rating on her
descriptions, none of the OFA numbers belong to
Reyna. It is very misrepresenting in the bottom description
appearing as though they are trying to pass of
Tinkerbell's information as Reyna's.
